Monastery of St. Peter Celestine

Monastery of the XI century

Erected as a Benedectine monastery in the XI century, over the years it has passed to the order of Clarrisses and of the Celestine friars, from whom it takes its denomination. It is proved as well the presence of St. Peter Celestine, who used the monastery as place for staying during the pilgrimages from and toward Santo Spirito a Majella.
